The School District of Lancaster is closed indefinitely at the order of Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf. The district is working daily to coordinate provision of services.
We remain in daily contact with the Pennsylvania Department of Health and the Center for Disease Control and prevention (CDC). We are urging the entire Lancaster community to heed warnings to avoid gatherings of 10 or more people (social distancing) that facilitate the spread of illness.
The School District of Lancaster is committed to providing families and staff with regular updates for the duration of this situation. All email updates are immediately published on a dedicated webpage.
All SDoL students are scheduled to return district-issued electronic devices, including iPads and chargers, and other district property, such as textbooks and musical instruments, to their schools the week of June 1-5.
