Principal's Message

Mr. Mark Simms / Edward Hand Middle School

Thank you for visiting the Edward Hand Middle School website.

On behalf of the faculty and staff, we hope you find our site user friendly and informative of the many offerings available for our diverse student body and their families. It is our goal to provide an environment that is conducive to growing academically, socially and emotionally while also maintaining a positive overall middle school experience.

In every way that schools are measured, whether it is academically, in the fine arts, with clubs and activities or athletics, Hand PROUDLY excels. None of this would be possible without parent and community support and hardworking, dedicated educators who have the best interest of students in mind. Thank you for trusting us with your child’s educational experience.

Here’s to another great year at Edward Hand Middle School, home of the Hurricanes!
