As we prepare to celebrate Independence Day, the School District of Lancaster will observe the holiday by closing all district offices on Thursday, July 3. We will reopen and resume normal operations on Monday, July 7.
This national holiday offers an opportunity not only to enjoy time with loved ones, but also to reflect on the founding ideals that continue to shape our nation and the responsibilities we share in ensuring those ideals are upheld for every member of our community.
At SDoL, we believe that education is central to that promise. We strive every day to create spaces where students of all backgrounds are seen, heard, and supported. As we mark this important moment in our country’s history, we recognize the strength found in diversity and the power of community.
We wish our community a safe and restful holiday weekend. Happy Independence Day!
