The School District of Lancaster is proud to partner once again with the Lancaster Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, The Mix at Arbor Place, and Bright Side Opportunities Center for our 5th Annual Thanksgiving Meal Distribution. Each year, this initiative ensures that families across our district can enjoy a warm holiday meal together.
Every school is encouraged to work with their school social worker to identify students and families who may benefit from this support. Together, we can help decrease food insecurity and ensure that every family feels cared for and supported during the holiday season.
We invite all SDOL staff, partners, and community members to join us in this collective effort by donating items listed on the flyers below, such as mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, cornbread mix, canned vegetables, and other Thanksgiving essentials.
