We were proud to join community partners, artists, and supporters on Saturday, September 20, 2025, for the Ware Center for the Arts’s 15th Anniversary celebration.
For 15 years, the Ware Center has been a cultural hub where creativity flourishes, voices are amplified, and Lancaster’s diverse community gathers to celebrate the arts. The evening highlighted this ongoing commitment with the unveiling of a refreshed name and logo, designed by Goodthree, that speaks to the center’s future while honoring its past.
The program also included reflections on the Ware Center’s history and impact. Keynote speaker Deborah Rutter, former president of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and now Vice Provost for the Arts at Duke University, spoke about the role of the arts in civic life and pointed to that night’s performances as her reason for hope in the future.
As we look ahead, the Ware Center stands as a symbol of what is possible when a community embraces the arts. For our students, families, and staff, it represents opportunity, inspiration, and belonging. SDoL celebrates its 15 years of impact and looks forward to the voices of the next generation who will bring their stories to its stage.
