The School District of Lancaster offers Pre-Kindergarten enrollment to qualifying children who are 4 years old on or before September 1. Admission is determined based on need. Pre-K classrooms are located at nine district schools.
SDoL has 12 elementary schools serving students in grades K-5 and one school serving students K-8. In general, these are neighborhood schools with enrollments around 500 to give students an opportunity to build community and positive culture.
SDoL has four middle schools serving students in grades 6-8 and one school serving students in K-8. The schools' curricula are based on the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme.
The McCaskey High School Campus comprises two buildings, more than 2,700 students and one of the broadest academic programs in the Commonwealth. The Lancaster Cyber Campusis a completely free, online school open to any district resident in grades 6-12 and offering both full-time and blended courses of study. It's cyber school with a local touch--and access to all that the School District of Lancaster has to offer.
