This college-level AP course stresses an in-depth study of selected works of world literature. Novels, short fiction, drama, and poetry are an integral part of the course. Close reading and contemplative, highly organized methods of expository writing and revision are components of the course. Methods of learning are as important as the subject matter studied. Time is spent reviewing previously given AP exams in preparation for the national AP exams.
