Wickersham Elementary Project

The School District of Lancaster broke ground in 2021 on a $18 million renovation and expansion of Wickersham Elementary School, and students are returning to the building in the fall of 2023.

A new section of the building was constructed opposite the main entrance providing additional classroom space, particularly for Pre-K and English Language Development. The renovations also modernized the existing building, including classrooms, the gymnasium, the library, the playground area and the climate control systems.
