In May, 2023, the Office of Data Analytics distributed an online survey to district PreK parents/guardians and several district PreK partners. The survey had a high response rate from district parents/guardians who had overwhelmingly positive experiences with their children’s PreK, as did their non-district counterparts. Highlights of the survey include:
- 99% of parent/guardians strongly or somewhat agree that the PreK program meets their child’s unique academic needs
- 99% of parent/guardians strongly or somewhat agree that the PreK program meets their child’s unique social, emotional, and physical needs
- 93% of district PreK parent/guardians plan to enroll their child in SDoL kindergarten in the following year
