Celebrating the community icons for whom our schools and spaces are named

February is Black History Month, and the School District of Lancaster is uniquely positioned to celebrate, as it is one of few institutions in the area to have numerous buildings named for iconic black leaders. For Black History Month 2024, we are learning more about some of the individuals with connections to SDoL schools whose names now grace buildings and spaces in the community.
