It is the season of giving thanks, and as our students and staff embark on a much-deserved break, I want to share how thankful I am to continue to lead an amazing group of people in the School District of Lancaster.
From the earnestness and resilience of our students, to the passion and professionalism of our faculty and staff, to the support of our community, I continue to love my job.
Just this week, I am encouraged by the many ways our staff is helping families—through meal giveaways, clothing drives and more. Special commendations to our high school students participating in a mock “Hooverville” to experience and raise awareness of the challenges of homelessness. They also collected goods for the Food Hub of Lancaster and our own Families in Transition Program.
