Boys & Girls Club of Lancaster Camp Hogan

Boys & Girls Club of Lancaster provides our community’s youth the unique opportunity to get outside and explore through full-day, outdoor summer camp at Camp Hogan, located in Millersville, PA. Students will rotate through fun, hands-on programs including STEM, art and music, team building, group hikes, sports, swimming, and more. Social Emotional Learning will also be a focus of the entire summer during our evidence-based Positive Action programming, consisting of mindfulness and small group activities. Breakfast and lunch are provided to all participants, and we will celebrate “campers of the week” to incentivize good behavior and regular attendance.

STEM programming will include our Imagine Science curriculum, focusing on insects and critters this year. Imagine Science is an evidenced-based program through a national partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Girls, Inc., National 4-H Council, and the Y-USA. New this year, will be lessons around environmental conservation, as well as the opportunity to kayak and explore the Conestoga with volunteers from the Conestoga River Club!

**Please note, this full-day, outdoor summer camp may not be the best fit for every student. Please consider behavioral and/or medical needs before signing up. Registering through the School District of Lancaster does not guarantee acceptance into Camp Hogan. Please see below for more information.

• Camp Hogan is $10/week per child
• Students must register with Boys & Girls Club of Lancaster and will need to come to the Club closest to them for a minimum of three visits before being fully approved by BGC for Camp Hogan. Club Membership is $1/year. More Camp information will be communicated by Boys & Girls Club in April. Clubhouses are located at

• Once accepted, campers will pick a Clubhouse to be picked up from in the morning and dropped off at before dinner. Campers are then free to stay at the Club for dinner and activities until 5pm, Monday-Friday.
