Make Your Own Book (Grades 4-6)

We’ll be making and binding our own books, using a mix of new & found materials. The content of the books will be determined by each student, and should incorporate a mix of media, including personal photographs, cyanotype images of nature, collages, doodling, quotes, and student writing/journaling. Students will bind the content together using traditional techniques, and will be pasting the bound pages into a “vintage” hardcover (rescued from school library discards, with its contents having been removed).
