PCAD Esports and Gaming Summer Camp for Grades 7-10

Students who participate in PCA&D Let’s Go! Esports &Gaming Summer Camp receive both group and one-on-one
attention to help improve their skills. One-on-one attention is
given with positive reinforcement in mind, meaning students
receive feedback on their skills, coaches identify what is
working and what can be improved on, and students are
rewarded for positive behavior. We accommodate students’
learning needs by adapting games, programs, and/or
lessons as needed and regularly checking in with students to
ensure comprehension. Opportunities for students to help
shape the direction of the camp are made available to
encourage student buy-in and a sense of responsibility.
Discussions about respectful behavior including good
sportsmanship and communication skills is covered in depth
throughout the duration of the camp. Students are coached
by both current college students who are on the Esports
team and the Esports Coach. We believe that including
current college students who are actively competing in
Esports helps to reinforce and model the responsible,
respectful, and safe behavior we want to see from camp
attendees.

Camp will take place from 12:30 pm – 4:00 pm
