Summer Sun and Earth Science Fun!
July 3, 2023 @ 8:30 am - July 13, 2023 @ 4:00 pm
Students will have get to learn about what is under our feet, the environment around us, and the stars above! They will make some magnetic slime, try to identify plants from our own backyard, learn how to follow the stars, and find out what could truly be colder than liquid nitrogen while also learning about it’s uses here on Earth. Session will look like:-Morning: More structured “classroom” type of experience. (we can also pair something here with something less structured in the afternoon — for instance learning about animals in the morning, working with them in the afternoon etc.)
-Lunch: One hour break for lunch (probably done in stages.)
-Afternoon: In the museum less structured activities on the floor (examples: lego competition, coding, learning stations and activities, a different planetarium show every day, nature walk, live animals etc.)
