The Wheatland FTO is hosting its 5th Annual Tiger Color Run on Thursday, Oct. 8, to support field trips, assemblies and clubs at Wheatland Middle School.
Students will run or walk a 1.25-mile route with music and five color stations along the way. The color powder is 99% cornstarch, biodegradable and skin-safe. Students may also skip the color stations if they prefer.
Race times are:
- Grade 6 at 12:50 p.m.
- Grade 7 at 1:10 p.m.
- Grade 8 at 1:30 p.m.
Families and friends can donate on behalf of a student’s grade, and volunteers are needed to help make the afternoon a success.
The homeroom that raises the most will receive a breakfast treat, while the top grade will earn an ice cream treat!
The color shows up best on light clothing, so save your Sunday best for another day. Let’s run and get colorful in support of our Tigers!
