Every day in the School District of Lancaster, thousands of meals are prepared and served with care. Behind each tray is a team of dedicated professionals in our Food and Child Nutrition Services department who ensure that students have the nourishment they need to learn and grow. Their work is not simply about feeding students, it is about creating the conditions for learning.
This past week, we were proud to celebrate several of these employees whose work goes above and beyond. From maintaining the highest standards of food safety to following USDA nutrition guidelines, they embody dedication and teamwork. Their impact stretches far beyond the cafeteria, creating welcoming spaces where students feel seen, cared for, and supported.
