History isn’t just a collection of dates and facts; it’s a living, breathing narrative that shapes our understanding of the world. In the School District of Lancaster, this belief is not only upheld but celebrated through the remarkable achievements of its students in the National History Day competition.
National History Day® stands as a beacon of excellence in history and civics education, empowering students in grades 6–12 to embark on a journey of discovery and exploration. This nonprofit organization provides a platform for students to delve into the annals of history, conducting meticulous research and presenting their findings through various mediums such as papers, exhibits, performances, documentaries, or websites.
