We believe families are essential partners in a student’s educational journey especially when it comes to creating meaningful support systems for students in our Full-Time Autistic Support Classrooms.
That’s why our Special Education Department is hosting a Family Training & Workshop on Wednesday, July 10, 2025, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the McCaskey East Cafeteria.
This hands-on session is designed for parents and caregivers, offering practical strategies to reinforce school-based learning at home and in the community. Attendees will explore skills that help generalize classroom learning to everyday environments, and they’ll also learn how to effectively advocate for their child throughout their educational experience.
Childcare will be provided to ensure this opportunity is accessible for all families.
