On Friday, March 7, the School District of Lancaster had the privilege of welcoming Leadership Lancaster as part of their journey to understand the vital role public education plays in shaping our city and society’s future.
For decades, Leadership Lancaster has been dedicated to cultivating informed, engaged leaders who are committed to making a difference. Their visit to SDoL was a deep dive into the realities, challenges, and successes of public education. From discussing innovative programs to addressing systemic barriers, our conversations highlighted one undeniable truth: when local leaders invest in education, they invest in the future of Lancaster itself.
Public education is a pathway that breaks down barriers and builds up communities. But supporting education requires more than just awareness; it requires action.
