A top McCaskey High School administrator will serve as interim principal of Smith-Wade-El Elementary School, superintendent Dr. Damaris Rau announced.
Mrs. Amy Martz will begin at the school on Monday, Nov. 15. She is leaving her post as associate principal at McCaskey.
Martz has served as assistant or associate principal at McCaskey since 2016. She is a certified elementary teacher, English as a second language teacher and principal. She has previously taught in the Reading School District, as well as at the collegiate level.
