The McCaskey Red Tornado wrestling team has triumphed at the 2024 Governor Mifflin Girls Tournament, emerging as champions among 21 competing teams, including four ranked in the top 8 statewide. This monumental victory highlights the team’s skill and determination solidifying their status as a powerhouse in Pennsylvania wrestling.
Congratulations to the following athletes for their remarkable placements:
- 1st Place: Journie Rodriguez, Kaleia Timko, Jurelys Peguero del Rosario
- 2nd Place: Kash Aguilera, Nevaeh Ramos
- 3rd Place: Tyra Bookman
- 4th Place: Angie Torres
- 5th Place: Yadi Rivera-Alvarado, Janexi Aviles
- 6th Place: Nasly Rijo
- 7th Place: Liana Samuel
Also competing and contributing to the team’s success were Marajah Diaz, CiCi Silva, Lung Ding Par, and Paris Johnson.
