The School District of Lancaster is inviting families to meet the finalists for the principal vacancies at King Elementary, Ross Elementary, Smith-Wade-El Elementary, and Wickersham Elementary.
Logistics
Stakeholders from these schools will have the opportunity to meet with each candidate, as a group. The meetings will take place in person and virtually during the week of March 28, 2022. Families are welcome to attend in person or via webinar; however, there is limited space for in-person.

Participants
Prior to the meeting, each participant will need to complete a confidentiality agreement. Feedback will be collected electronically in order to expedite processing.
Meeting Format
The Search Committee will be hosting and moderating each meeting. After a brief welcome from the host, the candidate will take 10 to 15 minutes to introduce themselves to you as a leader. The candidate will answer questions submitted through the survey to gain further information on their knowledge, skills, and abilities. Due to the anticipated number of questions being received, we will focus on the most common themes submitted for each stakeholder group.
Decision Making
In addition to the responses collected through the survey in January, the Search Committee will rely on the feedback the stakeholders provide during the stakeholder meetings and the full interview process. The Superintendent reserves the right to make the final decisions.
Timeline
Recommendations will be made to the school board for a May 3, 2022 vote.
