McCaskey Campus employee Derrick Watson reflects on the work of our NAACP Youth Council students. “The elections have come and gone, but that didn’t stop the School District of Lancaster Youth from exercising their 1st amendment rights and feelings about the current state of the world. I believe it is important for our youth to believe in themselves and the positive opportunities presented to them. Empowering them by way of educational components and sacrifices will give them the confidence to consistently lead and persevere over many of today’s obstacles.”
