Each year, the McCaskey Alumni Association honors five graduates who have made meaningful contributions to their professions and communities through the Distinguished Alumni Award. These individuals represent the very best of what it means to be a McCaskey graduate, leaders who inspire current students to dream big, work hard, and give back.
The nomination window for the 2026 Distinguished Alumni Award is now open! Community members, colleagues, and alumni are invited to submit nominations for outstanding individuals who have achieved excellence in their careers or demonstrated exceptional service to others. Self-nominations are also welcome.
Recipients of the Distinguished Alumni Award embody the values that define the School District of Lancaster, dedication, integrity, and a commitment to lifelong learning. Their stories remind us that the lessons learned in our classrooms extend far beyond the school walls, shaping futures and strengthening communities.
Five recipients will be selected for recognition at McCaskey High School’s Distinguished Alumni Day. Deceased alumni may be nominated, though no more than one honoree per year may receive the award posthumously. All other recipients are expected to attend the celebration events in person, which bring together students and alumni for a meaningful exchange of inspiration and legacy.
Nominations remain active for five years from their original submission, allowing individuals to be reconsidered in future cycles.
