All School District of Lancaster students may return to onsite instruction, most for five full days per week, beginning on Jan. 25. The school board voted Tuesday night to adopt a plan that opens school buildings to students while providing virtual options to families.
Exceptions to the full five-days per week plan are the high school, which will return over three weeks in a hybrid schedule, and pre-kindergarten, which will be held five half-days per week. Students in grades Pre-K through 6, grade 8, and high school freshman and seniors will be offered onsite instruction starting Jan. 25. Grade 7 students and high school sophomores and juniors will have the option to return Feb. 8. (Pre-K students do not have a virtual option.)
Families who have not yet completed the district survey of their instructional intentions should contact their school building and inform them of how their children will attend school beginning Jan. 25.
