Parents & Families: You’re Invited! Stakeholder Meetings for Principal Finalists: January 26, 2024

Family members of Wharton Elementary School and Martin School are invited to meet with the Principal finalists for your school. At the end of the meeting you will be asked to fill out a feedback survey on the candidates for the search committee to review.

Stakeholder meetings will be held in the Board Room at Lincoln Middle School. You are welcome to attend in person in or via Webinar; please note there is limited space for in-person.

Logistics

You will have the opportunity to meet with each candidate, as a group. The meetings will take place on Friday January 26. You can find the detailed schedule here.

Meeting Format

The Directors of Schools will be hosting and moderating each meeting. After a brief welcome from the host, the candidate will take 10 to 15 minutes to introduce themselves to you as a leader. The candidate will then answer questions submitted through the survey you completed in December to share further information on their knowledge, skills, and abilities. Due to the number of questions received, we will focus on the most common themes submitted.

Decision Making 

In addition to the responses collected through the survey, the Search Committee will rely on the feedback the stakeholders provided during the stakeholder meetings and the full interview process. The Superintendent reserves the right to make the final decisions.

Timeline

Recommendations will be made to the Board for a vote on February 20, 2024.
