Advantage Lancaster, which provides opportunities for educational experiences, activities, and community service projects throughout the school year and summer months, is raising money for cancer awareness this October.
The Pink Lancaster Fundraiser supports families with loved ones battling cancer. In honor of Ruth Thomas, “a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, mother-in-law, and child of God” who lost her battle with cancer, this year’s Pink Lancaster will contribute to the work of the Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute as well as Advantage Lancaster programming. Since 2011, Advantage Lancaster has donated more than $30,000 to organizations including the American Cancer Society and the Healing Journey Foundation, and the fight against childhood cancer.
Pink Lancaster tees can be ordered directly from members of the Advantage Lancaster team, based on building:

Prices are $20 for sizes Small to Extra Large, $25 for sizes 2XL and 3XL, $30 for sizes 4xl and greater. Payment can be made through a cash app (please indicate tee size in the memo section and, if a student sold the shirt to you, include the student’s name). Checks can be made payable to Advantage Lancaster. Orders need to be in by October 16 to get their shirt by the October 23 which is Pink Lancaster day
