The SDoL school board on Tuesday accepted Mr. John Lischner’s resignation as McCaskey Campus principal. Effective immediately, Dr. Abie Benitez will assist with administrative responsibilities at the McCaskey Campus. Dr. Benitez is the current Director of Schools for the School District of Lancaster and has over 35 years of experience in public education.
“I have full confidence in her ability to take on this additional responsibility,” superintendent Dr. Damaris Rau write in an email to McCaskey families Tuesday night.
“This change in leadership will not impact the daily teaching and learning that takes place at your child’s school,” she wrote. “The Assistant Principals and my entire team are here to support the Campus during this time of transition.”
