Dear families and friends,
The School District of Lancaster is beginning a search for a new Athletic Director, and we value input from members of our community to ensure we hire the right leader to meet our standard of excellence. Last year, based on feedback from students, families, and coaches, our Athletic Steering Committee identified the following areas of growth for our sports programs:
- Communication
- Training and Development for Coaches
- Competitiveness
- Barriers to participation
- Facilities and physical resources
We look forward to hearing the candidates explain their vision for growth in these areas. At the same time, we want to ensure the candidates possess the right qualities, characteristics, and skills to succeed in the role. We ask that you take a brief survey to share what you believe we should prioritize in an Athletic Director and help us identify interview questions that you believe are important.
