The School District of Lancaster is inviting families to participate in its Family Engagement Fall Drop-In, a special event designed to bring families and schools together during Family-Teacher Conferences.
The event will take place at the Scheffey Professional Learning Center on the following dates:
- Monday, Nov. 25, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Tuesday, Nov. 26, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Families are encouraged to stop by before or after their Family-Teacher Conferences to enjoy activities that foster connection and creativity.
“This event is about celebrating families and the important role they play in their child’s education,” said Lindsay Gregg, Manager of Community and Family Engagement. “We want to create a space where families can engage with the school community, connect with each other, and leave with meaningful memories.”
What to Expect
Attendees will have the chance to:
- Capture memories at a festive photo booth.
- Get creative by making holiday cards for loved ones or teachers.
- Win a free professional family photo session by showing confirmation of their Family-Teacher Conference attendance.
The Family Engagement Fall Drop-In is part of the district’s broader commitment to strengthening relationships between home and school.
“This event isn’t just about having fun; it’s about building bridges,” Gregg added. “When families and schools work together, students thrive.”
Parents are encouraged to bring their families and take advantage of this opportunity to celebrate their connection to the school community while creating lasting memories.
