The School District of Lancaster was honored to support Lancaster AAPI at their 3rd Annual Lunar New Year Celebration, welcoming the Year of the Snake. Held in the heart of the Lancaster community, the event brought together families, students, and community members to celebrate the rich cultural traditions of Lunar New Year.
The Year of the Snake symbolizes wisdom, resilience, and transformation—qualities that align with SDoL’s commitment to fostering growth, understanding, and inclusion within our diverse school community. From traditional performances to cultural activities, the celebration provided an opportunity for students and families to connect with their heritage while also sharing it with the broader Lancaster community.
As we enter the Year of the Snake, SDoL remains dedicated to uplifting and supporting the diverse voices and traditions that enrich our district. We look forward to continuing to foster an inclusive environment where all cultures are celebrated and all students feel seen and valued.
Wishing all who celebrate a joyful and prosperous Lunar New Year! For more photos, visit our Facebook.
