We love celebrating the talents of our SDoL team both inside and outside the district! Our very own HR Generalist, Andrew Matseur, is stepping into the spotlight in DreamWrights Center for Community Arts’ production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.
Based on Mark Haddon’s award-winning novel and adapted by Simon Stephens, the play follows Christopher Boone, a brilliant 15-year-old who experiences the world in a way that is both extraordinary and deeply challenging. When a neighborhood mystery unravels before him, Christopher embarks on a journey that pushes him far beyond the familiarity of home, one that ultimately transforms not only his own understanding of the world but also the perspectives of those around him.
Andrew and fellow cast member Genevieve McLain recently joined Good Day PA to share their experiences preparing for this production. Their dedication to this story and the powerful messages it conveys is evident, and we are thrilled to see Andrew take on this role with passion and purpose.
This production is a story about seeing the world through different perspectives, breaking barriers, and embracing the unknown. Andrew and the talented cast are bringing this emotional and visually stunning show to life, and we couldn’t be more proud to see one of our own shining in this meaningful production.
We encourage our SDoL community to support Andrew and the entire cast by attending a performance. Show dates begin March 21st at DreamWrights Center in York. Break a leg, Andrew! We can’t wait to support you as you bring this powerful story to the stage.
