A statement from School District of Lancaster superintendent Dr. Keith Miles:
“We commend leaders in Harrisburg for not appealing the Commonwealth Court’s comprehensive, decisive ruling. Now, it is the Legislature’s responsibility to allocate funding appropriately so that all students, whether or not they live in a wealthy community, can receive the quality public education guaranteed in our state constitution.
“We hope to receive funds soon, which will help us deliver on our mission of ensuring that every student in our care receives an excellent education.”
