SWE Update- April 1, 2022

Message from Principal Martz

Good Afternoon SWE Families~

We’ve had another great week of teaching and learning at Smith-Wade-El. Our 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th graders are gearing up for ELA PSSA testing at the end of this month. Our Girls on the Run program kicked off this week and I enjoyed taking a few laps around the school with the girls yesterday afternoon. Many students are excited about our upcoming spring events. Please be sure to put the dates on your calendar for our Barnes & Noble Night coming up on April 20^th and the Annual Race for Education on April 29^th. Have a safe and restful weekend and as always, please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.

Girls on the Run

Girls on the Run is up and running!!! If you have a 3rd, 4th, or 5th grader interested in participating, please contact Ms. Glick. She will be assisted this year by Mrs. Martz!!!

For your child’s safety please remember that the school doors do not open until 8:15 for breakfast. The doors officially open for all other students at 8:30 for the start of the school day.
