Message from Principal Martz
Good Afternoon SWE Families~
It was great seeing some of you last night during parent teacher conferences. Thank you to our PTO for the snacks that were donated to keep us going during a 12 hour shift. It was very much appreciated. It has been an exciting week at SWE with many wonderful accomplishments made by our students. From our beautiful art show and winter concert to the amazing academic achievements in our STEM fair and Geography Bee. Everyone was beaming from ear to ear with pride. We are so proud of all these remarkable accomplishments and we look forward to many more. As always, if you need anything, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Car Rider Tags in the Car Rider Loop
If picking up your student in the car rider loop – please have your car rider tag visible when you enter the circle.
For safety and efficiency at afternoon dismissal, we are kindly asking that those vehicles utilizing the parent pickup loop on the side of the building have a green placard displayed in their front or passenger side window.
This green placard with your child/children’s name/s is our way of knowing that a person is an authorized pick up person. This also allows us to call your child from the gym to expedite pick up as vehicles pull all the way forward in the loop.
If you are in need of a green placard for your vehicle or for the vehicle of a guardian who may be picking up your child, please contact the school office and one or more green placards will be made for you. Thank you for your continued cooperation as we work to improve safety and systems at SWE.
