Message from Principal Martz
Good Afternoon SWE Families~
We had a great week of teaching and learning! Third, fourth and fifth grade finished strong on their Math PSSA’s this week and fourth grade will finish up next week with Science PSSA’s. I’m so proud of how hard they worked. Next week we have an early dismissal on Wednesday, our Art Show on Thursday, and Field Day on Friday. As we end this week, I want to take a moment to recognize our teachers and thank them for all they do for our students! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there!
Teacher Appreciation Week

Race for Education
Kindergarten is the winning grade for the Race for Education. They raised $1838!!! Kindergarten will earn a special dress down day and ice cream treats on the playground (date TBD).
The winning classroom is Mrs. Murch, who raised $1028! They will earn a pizza party lunch with Mrs. Martz (date TBD).
Thank you for all your support for this year’s Race for Education! We raised almost $7500! What a great accomplishment for our kids and our community!
Early Dismissal
Wednesday, May 11th: Students will be dismissed at 12:30pm!
SWE Art Show
Come out and support our students! The Art Show will be displayed throughout the first floor of the building. There will also be cookies and lemonade for those who attend.
