The J.P. McCaskey Friend’s of Music is thrilled to announce this year’s Tag Day! Tag Day has become the cornerstone of the McCaskey Friends of Music’s fundraising efforts, and is its largest fundraising event of the year. Scheduled for October 5, 2024, this annual initiative sees students canvasing the local community in support of music education.
In 2023, Tag Day saw unparalleled success, with over $28,000 raised. This outstanding achievement is a testament to the dedication, enthusiasm, and support of the Lancaster community. Please join us in making Tag Day 2024, an even greater success! Together, we can continue to inspire and empower young musicians to reach for the stars.
McCaskey Friends of Music supports the performing arts students at McCaskey HS. Over the years we’ve raised funds to purchase items such as a band trailer, costumes, robes, instrument repair, and much more. We support all students involved in Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Orchestra, Vocal Ensemble, Chamber Choir, Voices of Freedom, Mixed Chorus, & plays, and musicals.
