School District of Lancaster is partnering with two local colleges to offer FREE college classes for students. These opportunities are available to rising juniors and seniors.
Harrisburg Area Community College
McCaskey Campus is partnering with Harrisburg Area Community College to offer a summer dual enrollment course. Dr. Brian McDonald is teaching English 101 from June 23rd to August 12th. This course is taught synchronously online on Wednesday and Thursday nights from 5-7:20. This course is FREE for qualifying students through SDoL’s dual enrollment program. Students must be entering 11th or 12th grade.
Pennsylvania College of Art and Design
Pennsylvania College of Art and Design is offering a FREE summer college class to six McCaskey students. This opportunity is available for rising juniors and seniors on a first come, first served basis.
Class offerings include:
- Introduction to Business I
- Introduction to Business II
- Introduction to Western Art
- Introduction to Experience Design
- 3D Design
