About the Show:
Evan Goldman had it all, until life threw him a curveball. Just before his 13th birthday, he’s forced to leave his fast-paced life in New York City and move to a small town in Indiana after his parents’ divorce. Now, as the new kid in school, Evan has one mission: fit in before his Bar Mitzvah. But navigating new friendships, social cliques, and middle school drama isn’t so simple. Will he climb the popularity ladder, or will he find his own way by embracing who he truly is?
13 JR. is a funny, honest, and relatable musical that speaks to the challenges of adolescence, the importance of friendship, and the power of being yourself. The cast and crew of Wheatland Middle School have been working hard to bring this story to life, and we can’t wait to share it with you!
