Dear Price Families,
The School District of Lancaster has begun the hiring process for our principal vacancies. As a community member, you are invited to meet with the principal finalists. At the end of the meeting, you will be asked to complete a feedback survey on the candidates for the search committee to review. You are invited to attend the stakeholder meetings which are being held at the Lincoln Board Room. You are welcome to attend in person or via Webinar. The link for the webinar will be provided as we get closer to the date.
Logistics
Stakeholders from any school hiring a principal will have the opportunity to meet with each candidate, as a group. The meetings will take place in the evening on Wednesday, January 22. A more detailed schedule will be sent out as we get closer to this date.
Meeting Format
The Directors of Schools will be hosting and moderating each meeting. After a brief welcome from the host, the candidate will take 10 to 15 minutes to introduce themselves to you as a leader. The candidate will answer questions for stakeholders to gain further information on their knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Decision Making
In addition to the responses collected through the survey, the Search Committee will rely on the feedback the stakeholders provide during the stakeholder meetings and the full interview process. The Superintendent reserves the right to make the final decisions.
Timeline
Recommendations will be made to the Board for a February 18, 2025 vote.
