Staying Connected
At the heart of Lancaster City, the Crispus Attucks Community Center (CACC) continues to serve as a vital resource for neighbors in need. Through programs like the CACC Choice Pantry, the center provides families with access to nutritious food in an environment that prioritizes dignity and choice.
The Choice Pantry allows visitors to select the items that best meet their household needs, offering a more personalized and respectful approach to food assistance. But behind every stocked shelf and shared smile is a network of volunteers who make it all possible.
Right now, CACC needs our help. Volunteers are needed to distribute food, break down boxes, and restock shelves so that every family who walks through their doors can find the support they deserve.
If you’re looking for a way to make a meaningful impact, consider volunteering with the Crispus Attucks Community Center. A few hours of your time can make a lasting difference for countless families across Lancaster.
The School District of Lancaster is proud to partner once again with the Lancaster -PA- Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., @themixlancaster, and @bright_side_oc for our 5th Annual Thanksgiving Meal Distribution for SDoL Families .
All SDoL staff, partners, and community members are invited to join in this collective effort by donating Thanksgiving essentials such as mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, cornbread mix, canned vegetables, and other nonperishable holiday items.

November 25 | 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
