We are committed to ensuring every student has access to high-quality teaching and learning. To support this work, our district has built-in early dismissal days during the school year. These shortened school days provide teachers and staff with valuable professional development and collaboration time, which allows them to strengthen instructional practices, review student progress, and prepare lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
For the 2025–26 school year, early dismissals will take place on the second Wednesday of each month, along with Tuesday, December 23, 2025, before winter break, and the tentative last student day, Friday, May 29, 2026.

We encourage families to plan ahead for these dates, making arrangements for transportation, after-school care, and any schedule adjustments that may be needed.
We also want to remind families that attendance on early dismissal days is just as important as on full days. Please make sure your student is present, as absences on early dismissal days count as full-day absences. Consistent attendance plays a critical role in student success, and at a minimum, all students are expected to attend at least 95% of the school year. Missing even a few days, whether partial or full, can have a lasting impact on learning, achievement, and connection to school.
By working together to prioritize attendance and support student engagement, we can ensure that every student remains on track both academically and socially. Regular school attendance matters. Thank you for partnering with us to make each school day count.
