School District of Lancaster Board of Directors

The School District of Lancaster Board of School Directors consists of nine members who are each elected to a four-year term of office. Board members serve without compensation and have the primary task of formulating and evaluating all policies necessary for the operation of the school district.

The Board of School Directors meetings are scheduled the first, second and third Tuesday of each month; however, occasionally there are exceptions. Each regular business meeting is advertised on this site and in the legal section of the local newspapers.

Public Comments

School Board meetings are held in Lincoln Middle School, and members of the community are invited to attend. Residents may address the board in person when the agenda allows for public comment. If you do not wish to attend in person, you may register to make a virtual comment via Microsoft Teams. Please provide your full name, residential address, and email address (link below) and you will receive meeting information in the email provided. Commenters will remain in a virtual “waiting room” until it is their turn to speak. Please note, only school district residents, taxpayers, and employees are permitted to make public comments at a board meeting

School Board’s BoardDocs transition

The School District of Lancaster has transitioned to new online platforms for accessing School Board meeting information and district policies. School Board meeting agendas, minutes, and supporting documents are now available through Keystone Agenda, replacing the district’s previous BoardDocs platform.

Board meeting agendas will continue to be posted before each scheduled meeting.

The district has also launched a new online policy platform where families, staff, and community members can search and view current School Board policies.

Both platforms remain a work in progress as documents continue to be transferred and organized. Visitors may notice updates or changes as the district completes the transition. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
