
Jennifer Eaton / President
Jennifer (Van Buskirk) Eaton was elected to the Board of Directors in 2021. Jen is a proud graduate of the class of 1996, and the parent of a graduate (and his future spouse) from the class of 2014 . Jen and her husband are parents to two Red Tornadoes. She has been a parent volunteer and leader in the district since 2001, participating in PTO/FTOs at Wharton, Reynolds, McCaskey, and E. R. Martin Schools and District PAC.
Jen attended SDOL schools from kindergarten (Wharton) through graduation, and subsequently attended Franklin & Marshall College, where she graduated in 2000 with degrees in Government and Spanish, and a minor in public policy. She also completed master’s coursework at Penn State Harrisburg in the (former) Community Psychology & Social Change program. Jen’s professional experiences include legislative and educational advocacy; SDOL community partnership-building and professional development around the Whole Child and Community School Model; and case manager/program liaison to the Lancaster Violent Crime Reduction Initiative, a cross-systemic community prevention coalition. Jen also worked as the Public Relations Manager for Best College Fit, a company created by her father, a 35+ college admission veteran, writer, and presenter.
With the core values that our communities are better when families basic needs are met; students are able to arrive to school fed, clothed, and ready to learn; and teachers are well trained, resourced and supported to meet the diverse needs of their classrooms; and that quality, equitable public education is a right of all students – Jen decided to run for school board after the first year of the pandemic. She co-organized and participated in advocacy efforts related to the Fair Funding Lawsuit, and jumped into Board work, including liaison to the Leadership/Act 93 Team, participation on the Policy and Boundary Realignment Committees.

Katrina Holmes / Vice President
Katrina Timberlake Holmes, a native of Camden, New Jersey, is a dedicated advocate for the success and well-being of her community. She is the proud mother of three children, two of whom are McCaskey High School graduates, with one currently attending McCaskey High School. Katrina is married to Aaron Holmes, and together they share a commitment to their family’s growth and education.
Katrina is a graduate of Harrisburg Area Community College and the founder of Engage Inspire Expose, an organization dedicated to empowering individuals through meaningful engagement, inspiration, and exposure to new opportunities. She works full-time as an Office Manager, where her organizational skills and dedication to excellence shine.
Katrina is excited to bring her enthusiasm, experience, and commitment to the School District of Lancaster’s board, where she looks forward to contributing to the success and flourishing of the community.

Kareena Rios
Proud Boricua and McCaskey graduate class of 2009, Kareena was elected to the School Board in 2019 and reelected in 2023. Kareena works as a programs director for the Boys & Girls club of Lancaster. She has worn many hats in the Lancaster community and is known for her advocacy, grant work, and community organizing. She lives in Lancaster city with her two children who attend SDoL schools.

Robin Goodson
Robin Goodson is a dedicated public servant and community advocate with decades of experience serving Lancaster County through education, social services, and nonprofit leadership. Her deep connection to the School District of Lancaster began as a parent, where raising six children in the district fostered a lasting commitment to student success and family engagement.
Robin brings more than 30 years of professional experience with the County of Lancaster. While she spent much of her career in the Accounting Department, she has since transitioned into a counseling role, fulfilling a lifelong passion for service. In May 2025, she earned her Master of Social Work degree from Lancaster Bible College and now works directly with individuals experiencing substance use disorders and mental health challenges, helping some of the county’s most vulnerable residents access care and support.
In addition to her county role, Robin serves as an ESSR Monitor and Consultant for the Pennsylvania Department of Education, where she supports school districts in strengthening systems that promote equity, compliance, and student well-being.
Robin’s leadership extends across numerous nonprofit and advisory boards, including United Way, Girls on the Run, the YWCA, the State Parent Advisory Council, and the Pennsylvania School Boards Association. She is also actively involved with the School District of Lancaster’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and Champion for Our Youth, where she continues to advocate for inclusive practices and high-quality educational opportunities for all students.
Robin holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in accounting from Lincoln University. Her combined background in finance, education, and social work allows her to approach complex challenges with both analytical insight and compassion. Recognized through multiple leadership and service awards, Robin Goodson remains committed to driving meaningful change and strengthening the systems that support children, families, and communities across Lancaster County.

Dr. Molly Henderson
Molly Henderson, Ed.D., was elected to the school board in 2021. She has a history as an educator, public health official and been active in many community service organizations. Her children attended the School District of Lancaster. She lives with her husband and two dogs in Lancaster Township.

Denisha Ganz
Denisha Gantz was elected to the school board in 2025. A McCaskey alum, Gantz lives in Lancaster and has children who attend school in SDoL.

Luis Morales
A proud graduate of McCaskey High School (Class of 2008) and Millersville University (Class of 2019), where they earned a bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Luis has dedicated his career to serving the Lancaster community.
With professional experience at Lancaster Meals on Wheels, the Community Action Partnership Head Start, and JusticeWorks Youth Care, he has made significant contributions in supporting vulnerable populations. Luis Currently works at the Lancaster County Office of Aging, they continue to advocate for and assist older adults in the community. A parent of four children who attend SDOL schools, Luis is deeply committed to both family and community well-being with an added interest in the advocating for Special Ed Students and families.

David Parry, Ph.D.
Dr. Dave Parry was elected to the board in 2017. He has spent his career in higher education as a Communication and Media studies professor. He currently teaches at Saint Joseph’s University.
On the board he is the chair of the policy committee, and serves on both the LEA and AFSCME committees.

Anita Pilkerton-Plumb, MSW, LCSW
Anita is a licensed clinical social worker with a counseling practice for children, teens and adults in Lancaster city. She has been an active volunteer with School District of Lancaster PTOs, PAC, wellness committee, and the 2019 boundary study. She is passionate about community engagement including support of the arts, the LGBTQ+ community, and families. Anita studied Human Development and Family Studies at Penn State University, completed her Masters in Social Work at Temple University, and is the proud parent of a 2022 McCaskey grad and a current McCaskey student.
