Accounting Lab I students begin this program in 11th grade. Accounting I presents students with a complete accounting cycle for a service business organized as a proprietorship. The accounting cycle covers analyzing transactions, journalizing, posting, petty cash, financial statements, and adjusting and closing entries, using a modern owner as a case study. In addition, this lab course presents business and marketing skills as an art and a science through realistic marketing situations and case studies.
