This course is comparable to an introductory college course in European History and is designed to prepare students to succeed on the Advanced Placement test. The course covers European history from 1450 to the present. Students need to be familiar with historical facts and the chronology of European history during that period. Special attention is given to themes in modern European history, the consequences of European contacts with other areas of the world, and analysis of historical evidence.
