Students in this class examine and produce various forms of writing, including nonfiction, fiction, and poetry, with the goal of writing for contests and/or publication. They also comprise the staff of the Burning Glass literary magazine and master all steps in preparing the magazine for the printer: advertising, writing, critiquing, layout (using Quark), and proofing.
