Theatre II introduces students to realistic acting technique and play analysis. Students develop acting skills through exercises, improvisations, and scene study from plays studied in class. As part of learning to identify playwright’s intention, each student will complete an independent play analysis for written and/or oral presentation which explores the setting as well as the content of the selected play. Theater II students will expand movement and vocal skills and work as a group to master one or more projects to perform at year’s end.
Note: This course fulfills the Art requirement for graduation.
