School District of Lancaster Board of Directors

The School District of Lancaster Board of School Directors consists of nine members who are each elected to a four-year term of office. Board members serve without compensation and have the primary task of formulating and evaluating all policies necessary for the operation of the school district.

The Board of School Directors meetings are scheduled the first, second and third Tuesday of each month; however, occasionally there are exceptions. Each regular business meeting is advertised on this site and in the legal section of the local newspapers.

Public Comments

School Board meetings are held in Lincoln Middle School, and members of the community are invited to attend. Residents may address the board in person when the agenda allows for public comment. If you do not wish to attend in person, you may register to make a virtual comment via Microsoft Teams. Commenters will remain in a virtual “waiting room” until it is their turn to speak.
